*Ways to Donate directly to Sandusky County Park District

-General Donations:

-Bench Sponsorship within any Park District facility

Recognition is placed directly on the bench.

Cost for a single bench with concrete pad: $150.

Cost for a covered bench with concrete pad: $1,000.

Under normal use, the benches will last for years. Sponsorship of a bench is for the life of that particular bench. Should a bench need to be replaced, sponsors will be given the first opportunity to renew their sponsorship. There is currently a waiting list for those interested in bench sponsorship.
-Donate Your Property or other assets

Please contact the Director if you would like to discuss the possibilities of donating land, equipment, or even family heirlooms. The Park District could also play a role in estate planning.

* People For Parks nonprofit 501(c)(3) status account

This account assists specific projects that might not be feasible without support outside the regular budget, such as the accessible fishing platform at White Star Park. Donations should be made payable to “People for Parks” and sent to People for Parks, c/o 1970 Countryside Place, Fremont, OH 43420.

* Maintain Our Parks: Account which holds funds with the specific purpose of levy campaign promotion. Donations should be made payable to “Maintain Our Parks” and sent to Maintain our Parks, c/o 1970 Countryside Place, Fremont, OH 43420

General donations are accepted anytime and may be designated In Memory of Someone or In Honor of Someone. You may also request that donations be used toward a specific program, or used at a specific Park District facility. Donations should be made payable to “Sandusky County Park District” and sent to Sandusky County Park District, 1970 Countryside Place, Fremont, OH 43420.
