River Cliff Park is the home of the Park District Administrative Offices. Donated by Black Swamp Conservancy, this 80-acre park is located on the Sandusky River adjacent to the Blue Banks. This portion of the Sandusky River is designated as a Scenic River by the State of Ohio. Criteria for scenic river designation include length, adjacent forest cover, biological characteristics, water quality, present use and natural conditions. This location allows for excellent fishing and birding opportunities as well as hiking trails.
